The Blonder Group, LLC was retained to perform a headquarters site search, which resulted in locating LP’s corp. headquarters in downtown Nashville, their R&D in Franklin, and their aircraft operations center in Smyrna. The Blonder Group, LLC was retained to perform a facility valuation and sell PNG’s existing headquarters and operations center. In addition, we were charged with selecting a site for their new operations center. Piedmont Natural Gas is an energy Services Company primarily engaged in the distribution of natural gas to one million residential, commercial and industrial utility customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, including 62,000 customers served by municipalities who are wholesale customers. Our subsidiaries are invested in joint venture, energy-related businesses, including unregulated retail natural gas marketing, interstate natural gas storage and intrastate natural gas transportation.

SONY BMG Entertainment retained The Blonder Group, LLC (“TBG”) as its exclusive representative in the sale of its Nashville headquarters. Housed within their building is country music’s first recording and production studio, assembled by Owen and Harold Bradley, the “Quonset Hut.” The roster of artists who recorded at the Quonset Hut is legendary and included some of Nashville’s most prolific and successful song makers; Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Jim Reeves, Conway Twitty, Khris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Bobby Helms, Webb Pierce, Kitty Wells, Bob Dylan, George Jones, Buddy Holly, Buck Owens, Dolly Parton, & Merle Haggard to name just a few.

The Blonder group, LLC was engaged by Allen Sides and Gary Belz to privatly market the studio for sale. We successfully sold the facility to Belmont University for use as a first classs teaching facility for Belmont's Curb School of Music. Ocean Way Nashville, designed by award-winning recording engineer Allen Sides and purchased by Belmont in 2001, is a world-class teaching laboratory that also serves an impressive client roster including Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Bob Seger, Three Doors Down, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, matchbox twenty, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Stevie Nicks and Gretchen Wilson, as well as successful Belmont alumni Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack and Brad Paisley.
